Tiger's Reflection

This illustration is inspired by traditional Alpana motifs, reimagined through a contemporary lens. I wanted to capture a moment of quiet power—a tiger rising from marshy waters, still and watchful, with the ripples and reflections blending into the intricate patterns of nature.

The process began with a pencil sketch, followed by inking using a mechanical pen to retain fine detail. I then scanned the artwork and brought it to life with color in Photoshop, layering textures to echo the fluid, earthy feel of Alpana designs.
