Hello! I'm Sweta.
Welcome to my blog. Here I am sharing my Indian Folkart inspired illustrations.
Born in West Bengal, India, I grew up admiring Alpana, a form of Indian folk art. Graceful intricate designs made from rice flour paste adorning the floor of our home during various religious rituals.
Over the time, I came across many other Indian folkart forms popular in various parts of the country through fairs, books and internet. My appreciation for Indian folkart led to these folkart inspired art pieces.
I also love to draw images that tell stories. You can find those illustrations at- https://swetarc.wordpress.com/
