Alpona Series-002-Mandala Style

 I got the idea of this alpona from a photo of an old terracotta motif I saw on Facebook. What caught my eye was the series of curved lines along the circumference which gave a sense of movement to the whole motif. This sense of movement is balanced with a sharp-edged geometric flower in the middle.
